Shipping & Returns
Turnaround
All orders are shipped within 2-10 business days Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. During sales or holiday periods, there may be additional delays due to increased order volumes.
Order Tracking
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail may not include tracking numbers.
Shipping Rates
For all orders over $49 (before tax), shipping is free except on orders containing merch like t-shirts and mugs*. All orders under $49 are $8.99. Before the final checkout page, you will see the shipping cost, allowing you to decide whether to proceed with your order.
*These items are print-on-demand and shipped by a third-party vendor with their own shipping fees, separate from bakery items.
Unclaimed Orders
The Dog Bakery is not liable for online orders that are not picked up. When placing an online order for pickup, you must retrieve it within 1 business day of the scheduled date. Cakes and treats are perishable, so unclaimed orders may be discarded without a refund. We will attempt to contact you via the provided phone number or email before this happens.
Back Orders
If an item goes on backorder, we will hold your order until the backordered items are ready and ship all items together once available.

The Dog Bakery Products
Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. -
"Merch" (T-shirts, Mugs, Sweatshirts, Hoodies, and all Print-on-Demand Items)
These items are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.
How to Return an Item
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as received. Please include a note detailing your request, along with the email address or order number associated with your purchase, and send the item to:

Include your order number with the return package. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email. If approved, a refund will be processed and applied to your original payment method.
Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)
If you have not received your refund, check your bank account or contact your credit card company. Processing times vary. If you still have not received your refund, contact us at support@thedogbakery.com

Return shipping costs are your responsibility. For exchanges, you will cover the cost to return the item, while we will cover shipping costs for the replacement.
