Most dogs love meat, so why don't you make your dog a cake made of his favorite food. Treat your pup to the meat lover's special. This recipe makes one mini meatloaf, and we suggest cutting it into small pieces instead of giving your dog the whole thing.
Cake ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen peas
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
Frosting ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 potato
- carrots and peas (topping)
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
2. Boil potatoes until they're soft. This should take about 620 minutes.
3. Mix the beef, oats, egg, peas, and carrots together in a bowl.
4. Grease your baking tin with coconut oil for dogs and add your meat. Bake for about 40 minutes until the meat cooks through.
5. As the meat is baking, prepare your mashed potato frosting. Mix your boiled potatoes with a hand mixer, adding water until you have your desired consistency.
6. Once your meat cake is cool, cover it with potato frosting and decorate with carrots and peas.
This dog birthday cake recipe is definitely without peanut butter!
